Andrea Toth

For Andrea, exploring this northerly part of England with its endless sandy beaches, hedgerows of wildflowers, rolling hills and history at every turn has been an absolute delight.

She is fascinated by the light and horizons of Northumberland as well as looking more closely at flora and people’s connections to plants through memory and place.

In 2010, Andrea had a solo exhibition at the Customs House in South Shields and another in 2012 at Ex Libris Gallery, Newcastle University.

She is currently working as a freelance tutor at Newcastle University's School of Architecture in addition to teaching Life Drawing in University's Fine Art Department.
